Finding ISRCs for Spotify tracks

Why Spotify hides the ISRC
Spotify stores the ISRC of every track it streams, because labels deliver it with the audio and royalties are reported by it. The consumer app simply does not display it. Artists can see their own codes in their distributor dashboard, but to check any other song you need a lookup tool. That is what this ISRC finder for Spotify does: people searching for an "ISRC finder Spotify" tool usually just want the code behind a track link, and that is exactly the input it is built around.
How to copy a Spotify track link
Paste it into the box above and press Find ISRC. Album and playlist links are not supported; open the specific track first.
- Desktop or web player: right-click the song, choose Share, then Copy Song Link.
- Mobile: tap the three dots next to the song, choose Share, then Copy link.
- The link looks like https://open.spotify.com/track/4u7EnebtmKWzUH433cf5Qv. Extra parameters such as ?si=… are fine.
How the match works
ISRC Finder reads the public Spotify track page to learn the exact title, artist and album, then searches the Deezer catalog for the same recording and cross-checks the ISRC with MusicBrainz. Because labels deliver the same ISRC to every store, the code is normally identical across Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music.
Be careful with songs that have several versions. If Spotify lists "Remastered 2011" and the catalogs return both the remaster and the original, compare the duration and album shown on each result card with what you see in Spotify. The tool shows several candidates in that case rather than guessing.
Spotify ISRC search in bulk
Need codes for a whole playlist? Open the Bulk tab and paste up to 20 Spotify track links, one per line. You can mix links with "Title - Artist" lines and ISRCs. When the run finishes, download the CSV for your spreadsheet or copy the ISRC column.
Searching Spotify by ISRC
Going the other way, from an ISRC to the Spotify track, is useful when a royalty statement lists only codes. Spotify's own search supports the isrc: filter: type isrc:GBUM71029604 into the Spotify search bar to jump to the track. Our ISRC lookup gives you the title, artist and album for the same code, so you can confirm what you are looking at.
For developers
The Spotify Web API returns the ISRC in the external_ids field of a track object and the UPC in the album object, but it needs registered app credentials. ISRC Finder can use those credentials when configured; otherwise it uses the public route described above. Either way, please respect each platform's terms when you reuse the data.
Why use an ISRC finder for Spotify tracks
A Spotify ISRC finder answers practical questions fast. Is the single you pitched to a playlist the same recording that is on the album? Did your distributor attach the right code to the radio edit? Which version of a classic song is a curator actually playing? With the ISRC finder for Spotify links you can check any public track in a few seconds without logging in to Spotify for Artists or asking the label.
Music supervisors use it to quote the exact recording in a sync license. DJs and radio stations use it to report plays to collecting societies. Developers use it to match tracks between Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube, because the ISRC is the one identifier all of them share.
Spotify link vs title search
Pasting the Spotify link is the most precise way to use this ISRC finder: the title, artist and album come straight from the track page, including version labels such as "Remastered 2011" or "Radio Edit". Typing the title by hand works too, but popular songs return several recordings and you have to pick the right one yourself.
If a Spotify link returns no match, the track may be exclusive to Spotify, very new, or delivered with a slightly different title elsewhere. Try typing the song and artist, or ask the rights owner for the code.
Privacy and limits
This ISRC finder for Spotify does not need your Spotify account and never asks for a login. It only reads public track pages and public catalogs. Lookups are rate-limited per IP to keep the free service fast, and results are cached for up to seven days.

Spotify ISRC Finder FAQ
How do I find the ISRC of a Spotify song?
Copy the song link in Spotify (Share → Copy Song Link), paste it into ISRC Finder and press Find ISRC. You will see the ISRC with album, UPC, release date and duration.
Does Spotify show ISRC codes?
Not in the regular app. Artists can find their own ISRCs in their distributor dashboard; for other songs use an ISRC lookup tool.
Is the ISRC on Spotify the same as on Apple Music?
Normally yes. The label delivers one ISRC per recording to all stores. Differences usually mean you are comparing two versions, such as a remaster and an original.
Can I search Spotify by ISRC?
Yes. In Spotify search, type isrc: followed by the code, for example isrc:GBUM71029604.
Can I get ISRCs for a whole Spotify playlist?
Paste up to 20 track links into the Bulk tab and export the result as CSV. Playlist links themselves are not read.
Why did I get several results?
Several recordings of the song exist. Pick the one whose duration and album match the Spotify track.
Is this affiliated with Spotify?
No. ISRC Finder is an independent free tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify.
